Nick has over 20 years’ experience in financial services. He moved to Enderby around 2015 and quickly became active in the local community. He previously served on Enderby Parish Council, where he held roles including Vice-Chairman of the Council and Chairman of the Planning Committee. This experience gave him practical insight into local government operations.

As County Councillor, Nick sits on the Adults and Communities Overview and Scrutiny Committee and the Highways, Transport and Waste Overview and Scrutiny Committee, as well as the full County Council. He is known for his community-focused approach, emphasising trust, accountability, and listening to residents.
Nick maintains an active presence in the community through his Facebook page (Cllr Nick Holt) and Liberal Democrat channels.
