My three children attended Blaby Stokes and Countesthorpe College, and I have always been active in the schools, as a governor at Stokes and as a parent helper there once a week.  I am keen to help the local community people in any way I can. I have had several voluntary roles, including as leader for the Beaver Scouts group, and since Covid started, I have been a volunteer for Blaby District Council, delivering food parcels to residents of Blaby District for the food bank and as a volunteer and Treasurer for Connect Blaby Together, the local group that assists residents who need a helping hand.
